The New York Times adds a second installment to its illuminating Block-by-Block series with Astoria-Ditmars. According to the Times, the series purports to take “you into a New York City neighborhood and let you know what it would be like to actually live there.”

We’re guessing the order of neighborhood selection over at the Times is not purely random… The series’ maiden journey covered Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. Readers can speculate why Bed Stuy and Astoria-Ditmars are the first ‘hoods to get ink (or more accurately ink and vid). And what will the Times choose for its third installment?
